Advent

A three years ago I made my daughter an advent calender as a surprise when she came home from Uni for Christmas hols. She loved it. I  always intended on making one for the family home and one for my son (even though he's a bit bah humbug)  but until recently haven't found one I liked. Well now I have, and here it is. It was a bit fiddly to make up but the end results I think are great. 

The kit I started off with came on a length of fabric, divided into the background picture and the assortment of pockets. Below is the finished article. I now have to find presents for each of the pockets. 

 

Bags of Fun

As I said in my earlier post I have been busy despite not having completed any posts recently. So as promised here is the first of many posts showing that I have not been idle. 

I made this patchwork bag for my daughter in greens, she's happy with it hope you all like it. This is now my third such bag each one just a little different. I'm hoping to make more and put them on Etsy or Ebay though this might have to wait till the New Year as I still have loads to do before Christmas, plus I've fallen behind with my scrapbooking.

Well hello again been a bit busy and haven't blogged for some time sadly. But, will be back with some more stuff shortly. I've been gardening, sewing, traveling, cooking and running around after the family, so I've been a busy bunny and have lots to share.
