Douglas is done
Well meet the next knitted critter. This is Douglas the cute little horse.
I am slowly knitting myself a whole farm of animals. I have now bought two more of Sarah Keen's knitting books. I've now bought wild animals and pets so we'll see what else I can knit. Once I have a who,e load of critters knitted I then have to find a place to sell them, well that's if I can bare to part with them.

Meet Delilah the Donkey
The Donkey is now finished. I think she is so cute. I am particularly pleased with the mane, which was a bit tricky to knit as I had never done loop stitch before. The internet and Youtube came in very helpful.

Cowslip a new addition to the farmyard folk
Just thought everyone might like to see 'Cowlip' my latest knitting project, from the Sarah Keen's Knitted Farmyard Animals.
I have a goat and donkey I'm knitting at the moment. I will soon have a whole farmyard of animals. I think I will also have to purchase her other book on wild animals.

Easter Biscuits
Today I made a whole load of Easter biscuits using the same recipe I had used to make Valentine biscuits. If you want to try making these the recipe is on my earlier blog post in February this year.
I used some lovely little cutters my daughter bought me,including eggs, chicks and bunnies. I am really pleased with how they turned out. Apparently they taste good too, my hubby just had to sample them. Ha Ha Ha.

This Little Piggy
Having recently knitted some little sheep it may seem the next logical step would be to try knitting some other animals. Well that's exactly what I decided to do. I found this fabulous book by Sarah Keen 'Knitted Farm Animals'
I decided to start with knitting the pig, he seemed very cute, and the pattern fairly easy to follow. It took about three days to complete the little piggy pal and I have got to say I am quite pleased with the results. My next animal is to knit is to be a cow. After that I might try knitting a goat
I think he or she is just so cute.

Baa, Ram, Ewe and Lambkins
I have been into knitting and sewing recently as you may have noticed by my blog posts. I'm afraid the scrapbooking is getting very behind but what the heck I will catch up.....eventually. Anyway thought I'd share these very cute little lambs I have knitted.
I got this free little kit with a magazine to knit one little sheep I then added some oddments of wool I already had and made four sheep in all. I think they are so cute and very cuddly. They remind me of Shaun the sheep from old Wallace and Gromit fame.
