Kew Gardens

On Sunday we took a trip to Kew Gardens, it was great. I love gardens and all things gardening so it was just the place to visit on a sunny Sunday in August. They have been working hard in the gardens so since my last visit there were several new things to see, including the hive and the bridge. Sadly the temperate house is still not complete but can't wait to see it when its done.

Racing for Life

Well I did it finished another Race for Life and in 37 minutes which I think for a 59 year old aint so bad. I have yet to decide if I will do it next year but I think the ....'go on do it'... will win out in the end.

Mannheim or Bust

Just back from our long weekend in  chilly Mannheim Germany. Ken was doing his 5 km run as part of his company's relay event at the Mannheim Marathon. We had a great time and Ken managed his run with flying colours.

We visited Heidelberg and went to the castle and had a ride on the Funicular railway, all in all a great time was had by one and all. Watch out later when these pages get scrapbooked.
