Pages, pages, pages

I decided to have a go at the Scrapology scraplift challenge.I loved the idea of the layout I thought it was fab. My layout isn't exactly like the others I have seen, as they have used flowers which all look beautiful. 

 My page is rather masculine, I've got cogs and wheels and looks of black and white. Well I am still going to summit it to the challenge as I like it and am pleased with the end result, what do you all think.

The picture was taken in Plymouth at the ground breaking for the new energy from waste development and this would hardly have lent its self to flowers and ribbons would it.

    This is a super page Dawn, I really like your version of it and it was a brilliant idea to use cogs. Works perfectly with the papers and photo. Thanks so much for entering the challenge, good luck.

    What a fabulous masculine page! These are always harder to do than the 'girly' ones, you can't rely on flowers to make them look good! -and this looks brilliant!

      Thanks so much. Yep Masculine stuff is hard but I think some things just don't fit with flowers....though I'd prefer they did. I have a friend who has a blog http://fruitofmyscraps.blogspot.com/ and shes a master of the masculine cards and pages you should give her a look.
