Notice board part one student project

I've just made my niece a notice board for her new student flat, I just hope she likes it. I'm making bunting and a patchwork cushion as well hope they turn out as well as the notice board.
There are pretty sparkly buttons at each crossing ribbon. Any distortions of ribbons is due to the photos not the placement of the ribbons .
I have used a picture canvas which is covered in wadding the fabric all of which you secure with staples. Its quite simple but very effective. The idea was given to me by my friend Stella who is always great for ideas.

And some more

After a lull of a few months I have finally managed to get some scrapping done. Here are a few more pages.

All these pictures are from my hubby's and my trip to Vienna last year I have a whole load of pages yet to do for my daughters graduation and our trip to Italy this year. I have also got loads more to do for her this is your life book, which at present is stalled around her 7th year, and she is now 22. Crumbs that's 15 years left to do,ha ha ha.

Finally some scrapbooking done

Well I finally got a few pages done for my scrapbook but I have soooo many to do this is a mere drop in the ocean.

Getting back into it feels a bit strange after all the knitting but its still great fun.

Well what do you think?

Agnes the Unicorn

She may not be quite like Agnes' Unicorn from Despicable Me but I think she is rather cute even though I say so myself. Well Bryony asked if I could knit a Unicorn and I thought why not I knitted a horse so just a matter of adding a horn. It was a little harder to do as getting the correct wool proved nigh on impossible. We came up with a solution finally using wool and metallic embroidery thread, not ideal but it works.

Trouble is now some one has planted the idea of a Pegasus Pony in my dear daughters head. I wonder what would wings look like and what would you knit them from? Ideas people?

Two new Critters

Hi folks meet Hippocrates and El Guffo another two of my knitted creatures. A Tiger is under construction but since I am modifying the pattern to give irregular stripes it may take a bit more time to complete.

I hope you all like them.
