A little help and Advice please

Can anyone help me with a problem I have with up loading pictures to my blog. When trying to upload using the icon on the tool bar I find I am getting a message which tells me I have exceeded my storage space. I really cannot see how this can be I have never had problems before. I have been simply uploading photos and not jpegs is this where the problem arises? If anyone can help me I'd be grateful as a blog without piccys sort of defeats the purposes of the blog.

Thanks

  1. You know someone the other day mentionned this on ukscrappers....I found this in the blogger help http://support.google.com/blogger/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=42348 so my understanding is there is a limit to the size of the post - I normally resize my pictures to 600px so they are around the 250kb mark when I upload them which is fairly small - maybe try that - there are other limits to the size of the page so if you have several posts with larger image sizes that might reach that....not sure whether any of that helps or not at all but just try making your pictures smaller in short :) might help!!!

  2. I had this at the weekend, just as I was ready to blog. I eventually gave in and paid Google to upgrade my storage space to 5 gigs for £2.49 a month as there was no one to give me advice. I'm sure there must be a better way, but I tried deleting photos, etc and nothing worked. I surmised that I had reached my storage limit with the photos already on my blog. Would love to know what you find out.
